Part of a major European group, our client is a manufacturer of specialist medium value industrial products into a diverse and highly demanding sector. Having achieved outstanding profitability and growth over the last four years, their plans are ambitious and have been strengthened by significant new investment in people, machinery, facilities and systems.
The Supply Chain Manager will be accountable for all supply chain activities including purchasing, sub-contract management and inventory management. Controlling a total material spend of £15 million, the job-holder will manage the supply chain in line with the production plan and engage a team to ensure supply chain best practice.
To be considered, we require operationally focused candidates with broad exposure to supply chain management from any demanding and fast-moving cost-centric manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will possess experience of engineering purchasing & sub-contract management including the development of new suppliers.
