Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of a variety of FMCG sold through direct consumer channels and to an expanding portfolio of retailers. Due to expansion this highly dynamic and forward-thinking £50m turnover organisation is actively looking to strengthen and reengineer their end-to-end supply chain. As part of this programme of change they require this key appointment to accurately predict demand for finished goods, monitor & report actual sales against predicated / budgeted demand. In conjunction with this, the job-holder will support their Far East sourcing activities by overseeing all import deepsea container consolidations and multimodal movements.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly self-motivated and enthusiastic individual from any Import / Export Logistics environment, coupled with a good working knowledge of customs and excise compliance. Previous experience of forecasting would be advantageous, but is not a prerequisite as full training will be provided.
