The Human Resources Director will devise and implement a progressive HR strategy, process and structure in response to several functions within a respected renewable energy business. The successful candidate will provide thought leadership in guiding, developing and implementing strategic and tactical HR initiatives focused on achieving business objectives.

The Company

My client is a key player within the renewable energy market and are renowned for their cleaner power generation activities on a global scale. The company is set to grow significantly over the next few years and have already integrated a number of new businesses into the current structure. As a result they are seeking an experienced HR Director who has demonstrable experience of working within a business that are growing quickly and of integrating various business cultures into one entity.

Role and Requirements

• Responsibility to oversee the whole of the German business along with some international work


• Understand the organisation and the internal structure in order to asses which departments need training and support


• Identify employee issues or training needs


• Be in charge of change management


• Excellent communication and people skills


• Collaborate with management and staffing to drive workforce planning initiatives within designated function teams


• Provide training to managers on how to manage and train their staff


• Talent acquisition


• Degree or Masters Degree is essential


• Wind industry experience ideal


• Fluent German and English speaker
