Our client is the UKs leading independent provider of Engineering Services. Established domestic activity is coupled with significant operations throughout Europe, USA and Australia promoting a global presence for the organisation. Their market specialisation encompasses the entire engineering process including electro/mechanical engineering, calibration and electronics services. Current organisational development has lead to a requirement to recruit a Project Manager.

Under the direction of senior management and in accordance with laid down standards and systems, assume overall contractual and financial responsibility for allocated projects from tender initiation, contract award to end of defects liability period as a minimum, thereby ensuring obligations are met and a high profile is given to maximising company profitability. The maintenance of good client relationships and liaison throughout the contract is essential to develop good customer relations.

The ideal candidate will be educated to a minimum of degree level within an engineering discipline or will be a time served engineer with relevant experience in Project Management in electro/mechanical engineering and will have an overall understanding of a wide variety of Power Generation Sources. A knowledge and understanding of contracts and of CDM regulations is essential coupled with a working knowledge of all aspects of Health and Safety within the industry. You will be proficient in Word, Excel and Project, have a pro-active approach to problem solving and the ability to multi-task and be methodical. A willingness to undertake worldwide travel is important. For the right individual there will be a competitive salary and benefits package.
