My client has its funding in place and now seeks to establish and implement a strategy focused on building an integrated food proposition in Russia and the Ukraine. This will be achieved through adopting an acquisitions buy and build approach.

They will control as many price points as possible within the supply chain which realistically could see a farm to fork business unit created.

The successful candidates initial objective will be to help form the strategy, identify the specific area to target and the potential main acquisition to complete.

It is therefore important that you have the operational experience and ability to run the business as you continue to buy and build.

Proven experience would therefore be required in; acquisitions, due diligence, corporate finance, strategy and operational management.

You will have experience within food; ideally within either meat or produce, however you could also have gained experience within dairy, as an example.

Strong strategic marketing skills to include pricing and data acquisition analysis are essential, coupled with the ability to effectively identify key opportunities in existing and new markets, both within the UK and abroad.

European language skills, especially German, Spanish or French is desirable. Due to the international focus of this role a willingness to travel, both within the UK and abroad, is necessary.

International Product Manager

My client is private equity backed, based in the UK and operates on an International footprint, supplying a range of technology solutions into the Healthcare and Local Government sectors.

A background in, ideally a technology based solution into the appropriate sectors will be advantageous but other products into similar markets will be considered.

Most important is your ability to take ownership for the full product life cycle, managing a portfolio of products and propositions profitably. This will include creating product road maps and liaising internally with appropriate departments in order to input and define new product requirements, identifying and influencing stock levels, pricing policy and providing support to the sales team.

Your decision making ability will be supported by undertaking comprehensive market reviews within international territories and your commercial breadth which will have resulted from proven experience in a similar role. You will have a quality education which ideally includes a second tier qualification such as a Masters.

You are likely to have second tier education qualification such as a Masters and proven experience in a similar high profile role, ideally within a technology, software or hardware services environment within Healthcare or Local Government.
