Our client is globally established, with a demonstrable track record of innovative solutions to the production and exploration of Oil & Gas fields, my client currently has an exceptional opportunity for a senior Reservoir Engineer within their Aberdeen Engineering sector.
Responsibilities will include project team leading for one or more of the appraisal assets, managing the asset through appraisal drilling and studies to the point of achieving internal and external sanction.

The day to day duties of this role will include formulating recommendations on ways of reducing uncertainty during the appraisal phase and handling remaining uncertainty through the development option screening and selection phases. You will have key input to the formulation and efficiency of the field development plan with direct involvement in the preparation of the field development technical justifications. You will also work closely with other disciplines to maintain a coherent view of the assets' reservoir.

You will need to be skilled in general reservoir engineering techniques, have a strong understanding of geoscience, drilling, commercial arrangements and facilities engineering. Demonstrate excellent IT skills including the use of a variety of reservoir engineering software and MS-Office applications.
