One of the most respected and highly active exploration and production companies globally urgently seek an experienced Drilling Operations Superintendent. You will be joining a strong and established team with vast experience.

You will play a highly responsible role which will require you to comply with codes of practice and safety and environmental protection whilst optimising costs and lead times. In addition, you will oversee the reviewing of operations programs and supervising the implementation of these to ensure safe operating practices whilst optimising operations and rig equipment. You will be expected to anticipate potential problems and plan alternative strategies leading to a positive outcome.

As the successful candidate you will be a Drilling Superintendent ideally with experience working for an operator. You will ideally have a BSc or MSc or equivalent in an appropriate engineering discipline with significant experience in the oil industry drilling and proven achievements in drilling, completion and work-over operations. In addition, you will have wide operational experience on offshore drilling rigs, logistics, simultaneous operations together with significant knowledge and experience of drilling related equipment, cost control, environmental safety, risk assessment and certifications. As the chosen candidate you will have proven communication planning and leadership skills.
