The key requirement of the role is that you have an outstanding background in international business development evidenced by above average growth in your field.

You will have full P&L responsibility to provide strategic leaderships and direction to this aspect of the business. You will:
  • Drive commercial sales

  • Head in a hands on capacity

  • Define the shape of this business area and lead it through a period of revenue growth including determining what assets need to be deployed in order to achieve your short to long term goals.


The ideal candidate will be well educated ideally with a first degree in a relevant subject- Engineering, Materials, Physics, metallurgy. But most important is that you have a track record of success operating within a multi cultural international business development arena. An MBA would be a distinct advantage.

Our client is an important player in the fast food/casual dining arena with a high level of planned growth and expansion into diverse geographical regions, specifically in Central Asia. They now seek to appoint an exceptional CEO to develop their strategy.

The CEO will be responsible for setting up and then operating the business. Initially the role will be to identify the optimal restaurant locations, hire restaurant and local head office staff, develop a marketing plan, optimize the supply chain, develop a reporting plan to the franchiser and later, to identify further opportunities for business development.

The role requires an accomplished leader with extensive experience with a major global brand from within the fast food arena. The focus is on developing an International franchise expansion plan; therefore the ideal candidate must be well versed in strategy formulation and execution, ideally within Russian-speaking countries or CIS. Fluency in Russian is quite important.

Job Description:

Objectives of the Position
  • Design, manage and execute PDG projects

Define overall project strategy.
Agree strategies for (Pre) Clinical, Manufacturing and Regulatory ffairs with line management.
Negotiate and agree milestones & deliverables with line management in particular Regulatory Affairs,
  • Clinical & Medical Affairs and Process Development

Design, planning, budgeting and execution of development plan.
Act as the key liaison with partners in co-development programs.
Supervision of operational project team meetings.
Support Regulatory Affairs in the generation of documentation for regulatory filing.
Program reporting to management.
Keep up to date with knowledge relevant to the project(s), become the product specific champion within the company.

Requirements:

  • PhD or equivalent level

  • Experience in relevant pharmaceutical and/or biotech company environment

  • Experience with late phase product development and GMP manufacturing.

  • Proven success in handling projects

  • Excellent organisation, communication and problem solving abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lead a clinical project team

  • Fluency in English
