Our client is a £120m turnover fmcg organisation. This industry leading food manufacturer is renowned for producing premium and quality products selling into both multiple grocery outlets and foodservice channels.

The business is part of a global fmcg blue-chip business and is getting regular investment to strengthen their leading market share in this specialist food sector.
This is your chance to exercise your exceptional Category Management skills on highly visible channel and award winning grocery brands.

Due to a recent acquisition the business is looking to strengthen the Category and Insight team to help grow the business in store within a highly saturated market.
This position is critical for the business & it is vital to find an exceptional Category Manager with significant success in a food or drink role, with the capability to step up to such responsibility right away.

In this Senior Category Manager role you will have full responsibility to lead the development of the category strategy for the 2 core brands worth nearly £85m.
Shopper & customer insight will be met with identifying & implementing category visions & full range reviews. A core Category Management skill set is a necessity with advanced experience of data panel software such as TNS, IRI or ACNIELSEN. Space planning & promotional activity experience is also a given.

Within the role & business itself you will be heavily involved with NPD and innovation processes. Because of this you will be tasked with creating and implementing full category reviews to identify as many incremental commercial opportunities as possible.
