Business Development Director
This exiting online start-up is rapidly expansion is seeking a Business Development Director who is passionate about technology, online media and business strategy. Ideally you will have business development experience in the Consumer Internet space with emphasis on business development, strategic analysis and sales management.
This role will involve creating strategy, sourcing partners, negotiating agreements and maintaining ongoing relationships with key partners. You will be responsible for negotiating relationships with clients that generate profitable revenue streams, drive distribution of the brand online, increase audience numbers and add value to the user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategy for growth and expansion and negotiate deals with partners
- Negotiate distribution deals with large consumer online companies
- Evaluate and explore strategic opportunities
Requirements:
- Highly motivated, hands-on used to fast-paced start-up environment
- Extensive knowledge of online business models and Internet/consumer technology
- Proven track record of delivering profitable results and strategic development
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
- Ability to work autonomously and meet objectives in an entrepreneurial environment
- Extensive negotiation experience, including comfort with legal aspects of negotiations
- Ideally experience working in a high-growth or start-up technology company
