Resourcer - Trainee Search Consultant
Market leading salary and excellent commission structure
Leeds
Founded in 2003, Burns Carlton has already experienced exceptional growth in executive recruitment, building a strong brand and business platform thanks to a combination of clear focus, ambition and hard work. Our consultants are aligned to specific market sectors or functional areas, and through significant investment into our infrastructure they are supported by an experienced team of researchers, excellent back office capability and CRM system.
We currently have a requirement for a Trainee Search Consultant/Resourcer to work with two of our Senior Partners.
The Role
Given the nature of recruitment and its demands, this is not a 9-5 role. You will receive extensive in house training, however the most important traits required are a high degree of common sense? and a strong work ethic.
Your role will be to support the two Senior Partners who have proven ability and are well networked with the FMCG sector. This support will include attending client briefings and candidate interviews where appropriate in order to develop your knowledge within this field.
Initially your primary responsibility will be focused on talent management and managing the candidate life cycle. This will require elements of company research, market analysis, candidate identification and direct head hunting. You will be required to utilise your ability to build strong relationships with candidates to conduct consultative discussions and interviews.
The Candidate
We are looking for an individual who is tenacious, ambitious, confident, discrete and professional. You need to be goal orientated, a team player and someone who can manage with the responsibility and pressures that come with a sales environment.
You will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills coupled with the ability to meet tight deadlines and targets. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work and is prepared to go the extra mile to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will be highly IT literate (Word, Power Point, and Excel) and will be adept at using social networking sites for commercial purposes. Language skills would be advantageous though not prerequisite, as would an understanding of the FMCG market.
This is a fantastic entry point into the world of Search/Headhunting. You will be exposed to working with senior candidates and clients who represent some of the most recognisable brands.
Closing date for this role is Thursday 12th August.
