European Account Director

My client is a global Financial Services organisation with headquarters in both Northern America and London.

This rapidly expanding organisation is now looking to appoint a highly successful, driven and tenacious Account Director to manage and develop one the organisations biggest accounts.
The successful candidate will have full P&L responsibility and be required to build exceptional client relationships whilst maintaining and building an account strategy that increases revenue generation and offers unique products
This is an extremely exciting, challenging and high profile position for a constant achiever with a wealth of account management experience from within the Financial Services arena.

The Role

• Lead product development activity achieving yearly new business and agreed yearly financial performance targets


• Arrange product and sales training support for clients as required and outlined in relevant agency agreement and in line with FSA regulation


• Lead new business and new country proposals together with the Corporate Development team.


• Manage and grow one of the largest accounts and revenue streams for the business

Person

• Significant account management and new business development experience within Financial Services


• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships at board level


• Strong Client Service mentality


• Strong negotiation and communication skills


• Strong communications skills and ability to build and maintain positive relationship with Country and Regional Managers


• A skilled presenter capable of engaging [FTSE100] board level clients


• 50 % Travel


• PPI experience of large account sales and account management with UK and/or European experience.
