One of the most respected and highly active Global Exploration and Production companies urgently seek an experienced Senior Project Engineer. You will be joining a strong and established team in their Geneva office with vast experience of West African Assets.

As Senior Project Engineer, you will play a leading role in the management of the design phases required for various oil and gas facilities in various global locations. The Engineer will usually be assigned to a Project within one of the asset areas and report to the Geneva based Project leader responsible for that Asset area. You will carry out or manage outsourced designs, design studies and reviews.

Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Project manage their work scope and integrate their work with others as appropriate


• Project monitoring, with regular Opco visits, reporting progress, identifying problems and implementing mitigation plans.


• Carry out (with the help of the project / business Services group) all functions as required by our facilities delivery processes and Project Execution Plans (PEPs), (cost control, cost estimation document control)


• Managing and mentoring Project Engineers, interfacing with Engineering department

This role will provide you with the opportunity to travel for short assignments to Operating Companies.

As the successful candidate you will carry a minimum of a B.S.c in Process, Mechanical, Structural or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline. You will have strong technical background with good communication skills and excellent leadership skills. You will have Project Management Experience, Knowledge of QA/QC systems. It is essential that you have considerable experience working for Oil and Gas companies with West African Assets/Operations.

The ideal candidate will preferably have experience of working for an Operator with a minimum of 10 years Oil and Gas industry experience. In addition, you will ideally have knowledge of standards and specifications, upstream oil and gas project experience, upstream oil and gas design experience, experience in preparation and coordination of Feasibility, Conceptual, FEED and DD packages and experience with engineering contractors.
