Our client is a quoted multinational organisation with an established brand, manufacturing a range of high performance components and providing key solutions for a range of world class clients. Due to their supplier base significantly expanding across Western Europe and North America the need has arisen for a high caliber Supply Chain / Purchasing professional.

The job-holder will report to the Group Operations Manager and will be responsible for developing additional suppliers in Eastern Europe and the Far East with a remit to reduce costs and reengineer / develop supplier agreements and relationships. Taking on a broader role, the job holder will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain issues, working with the suppliers to develop best practice.

To be considered for this key appointment you will ideally be degree educated, possess broad supply chain management experience with a focus in purchasing and supplier development, having worked within international manufacturing. You will the ability to identify and implement new ideas in global supply management and possess a proven track record of cost reduction through negotiation and supply base management. Please note that this appointment will consist of regular travel overseas for short periods of time.
