Working for a truly inspirational and highly respected consultancy you will provide data management and analytical expertise to many types of management consulting engagements. As a Data Analyst duties will include:

• Providing data and contents management know-how and technical expertise on consulting engagements.


• Undertaking a hybrid consulting role combining strategic business consulting skills with technical capabilities


• Identifying potential sources of data in conjunction with the project team


• Working with various members of the client team to extract , migrate, cleanse and validate data for varying platforms


• Developing stat-of-the-art content management processes for categorisation, harmonisation etc.


• Analyse and optimise complex data relationships such as bid analysis


• Offering destination-orientated reports and controlling information to the client


• Being a critical member of a client service team working across a variety of projects and assignments across an comprehensive client base

You will be educated to degree level, ideally in Commercial IT with experience in quantitative applications such as MS SQL Server, Access and Excel. Ideally you will also have experience in data mining , OLAP and Linear Optimization as well as SAP R/£ and SAP BW. Fluency in German and English is a MUST as are excellent analytical and problem solving skills. An understanding of strategic sourcing and supply management issues is highly advantageous and you must be willing to travel.
