My client is a long established Building Society with a great brand, proposition and reputation, offering a highly successful and proven Commercial Lending Manager the opportunity to join a dynamic and forward thinking business.

Upon appointment you will form part of the senior management team that leads the Commercial Department You will be given the freedom to innovate and implement change due to the societys ability to make things happen quickly.

To be considered for what can only be described as a great opportunity to join a business and team which is committed, determined and still experiencing significant levels of new business applications you must have:

• Over 7 years experience from within the Commercial Lending/Commercial Mortgage arena


• Proven ability to business develop and underwrite lending requests


• Knowledge and understanding surrounding lending criteria and process is essential, alongside the ability to build and maintain broker relationships


• ACIB qualification is desirable, although a proven track record of experience is essential


• An ability to build strong internal relationships and operate successfully as part of a team is also key

This is a pivotal appointment within my clients business, as a Commercial Lending Manager you will be responsible for not only business development, underwriting and client relationship management but the successful candidate will also be responsible for the development, coaching and leadership of a small team of lending managers. Therefore it is critical that you can spend 3-4 days in the office leading and motivating your team to consistently exceed expectations.
